Flooding the chat

So sometimes I have noticed, some players like to fill the chat one word at a time. Basically making a sentence, but like
I
want
to
poop
now

All in the chat filling it up. Might want to add in a rule and start warning people who are doing this. Can get annoying, and even if you mute them still get that popup saying 50 ignored messages.

    There are rules against that; it's called flooding, and anything that makes using chat hard, impossible or annoying for the majority of players!

    Then your friend should be muted. He is speaking a different language about soccer flooding the chat with Ronaldo this and score that. But we all know you won't be muting him.

    1. The rule has no rational basis, as you do not know what the majority of players find annoying. (You just decide based on PM's or these forums that nobody uses.)
    2. The rule is arbitrary on its face.
    3. The rule is vague on its face.
    4. The rule as applied only benefits mods and their friends.
    5. Thats probably why only mods and a very few of their friends bother to post here.

    Please understand this game gets better with less rules, not more! Otherwise you will drive literally everybody to quit playing, which is surely not the result desired by those who have vested you with your mod powers.
