Just came back after a long break, I think I might have pioneered this style of game play LOL...especially slaughtering plut rats. LOVE annihilating the plutonium lovers.
Straight up defending people that want to have characters dressed as the KKK?
Wow.
New low.
There's a really simple line here: Nazis/KKK/etc = bad
That's it. That's all you need to know.
But obviously, the new system is being exploited by those that don't want to bother putting in the effort to be better.
"Hey, I can just blow MYSELF up every time I get someone else, and there's no penalty!"
And I was being facetious with the he…

I would also point out I disagree entirely! I think the rule as is helps noobs and even experienced players who enter the round late. No more rule changes!
You disagree entirely because nine out of ten rounds, you're suici…

Bring back the old "heart" system. If someone suicides without a heart powerup, they come back with 1 bomb, 2 flames. : p
Heck, that'd work.
It would sure discourage this suiciding nonsense that happens EVERY SINGLE ROUND now.
Thanks for the link Otto, I found the thread and responded there.
I get the thought process behind that adjustment, but I think the unintended consequences outweigh the benefit, unless scoring reflects those deaths.
Thanks for pointing this thread out @OttoWarmbier
@Excuse_Me I think an inadvertent result of altering the chances of losing kick is that now you've got a big increase in players that are suiciding.
It's a pretty weak tactic, and tends to screw …

I'd agree that chaining needs to be nerfed.
As it's essentially a product of lag, there should be a desire to deal with it regardless.

My BIG gripe is suiciders. More and more players are suiciding lately, and not just the alts and noobs.

And the devs refuse to see the problem with letting guests take rank, medals, plutonium, special items, etc.
Many long time players have complained about this, devs don't care.
They have threatened to ban players that bring it up.
God does NO ONE appreciate the Slippery Banana bomb anymore?
That thing was unbeatable once you mastered it, but man...it took some real getting used to.
Eh, someone in a shield isn't an issue.
I'd agree that teaming up for special items like goals/shields and plutonium is sort of annoying, but it is what it is.
To me, the truly bothersome behavior is those that use the shield as a way to suicide b…

Nothing will change @Syme so I guess enjoy your life. I recommend Slash Arena, it is a very robust game with great programming and no bugs/players who just want to ruin the game play because their life sucks.

Yeah, I hear ya.
Not saying you should have posted in that one or anything, I just think it's indicative of the kind of wishy-washy moderation that runs this place.
FWIW, I agree with the idea of changing up how anon registered players work.

Oh look the thread is still up in the Dump.

Guests are going to stay and no arbitrary restrictions (such as no medals) will be added. This is the final answer and it's not up to debate.

So the last time I brought up the problems with fake guests, the thread got locked and I was told that even mentioning the topic in the forums could/would lead to a ban from the forums.
Interesting.
Yeah, the shield gen users that don't care about blue flames are still a problem.
I've been suicide bombed a few times in the last couple of days, so it doesn't seem to be affecting that particular breed of @#%@.
Ok. Then what about players that regularly lag heavily. Why aren't they relegated to a server that can handle their traffic better?
I know of at least a couple of regular players that are CONSTANTLY pinging 300 or more, but they aren't booted from …
