Things grow quite a bit over time, even if you spend no money... if you just averaged 1 plutonium a day, after a year you'd be between 300-400, not to take into account days you do exceptionally well and get like 5-10 in a day or something awesome

(they do spawn more frequently now as well, so that'll help you get them quicker).
