I was wondering the requirements for medals, because I was playing US1 and only 5 medals were rewarded (1 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze) instead of the usual 6 medals, there were 27 players in the game. Like how many players do you need for the amount of medals awarded.

Currently it requires 40 players to enter a field for 6 medals.

Right now, we are improving the method of estimating medals number (to use the average number of players on the map over the course of a round). It'll be in the next update shortly. After balancing is finished, I'll add that info to the FAQ.
